How the Take-Rate Works

The take-rate is Artsoundz’s platform service fee, deducted from the Creator’s payout when a project completes. Clients always pay the listed package price and nothing more. The take-rate is never added to the Client’s bill.

Your rate is set by your tier — 15% on Free, 12% on Pro, and 8% on Elite — with a $5 minimum per completed order. Your exact rate is shown in your Creator dashboard. It covers Stripe payment processing, escrow services, dispute resolution, and platform infrastructure.

The take-rate does not change your listed package price. What you quote is what the Client pays.

Quality Thresholds

Artsoundz monitors Creator performance over a trailing 90-day window. These are the minimum thresholds required to maintain an active, visible listing. All thresholds come directly from the Creator Agreement §9.1.

No. Clients always pay exactly the listed package price. The platform take-rate is deducted from the Creator’s payout only — it is never added to the Client’s bill. What you see on the listing is what you pay.
Yes. You can cancel at any time through your Creator dashboard account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — your subscription benefits remain active until then. Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has commenced.
Yes — a lower take-rate is one of the main reasons to upgrade. It’s 15% on Free, 12% on Pro, and 8% on Elite, with a $5 minimum per completed order. Your exact rate is shown in your Creator dashboard. Once you’re earning around $700/month on the platform, the take-rate savings alone offset the cost of Elite. Artsoundz reserves the right to modify the take-rate with 30 days’ advance notice to affected Creators.
Yes. Client accounts are free. There are no booking fees added to the package price. Subscription tiers are for Creators only — they provide enhanced visibility and tools on the Creator side of the platform.
Subscription fees are non-refundable. If your account is suspended or terminated, subscription benefits cease immediately. Payouts for completed, non-disputed projects will still be released per the standard schedule. Payouts for disputed projects will be held pending resolution.
