1. Overview

The Artsoundz Music Feed is a closed, verified social music community accessible only to active Elite tier Creator subscribers. It allows Elite Creators to share original tracks, connect with followers, engage with the community, and grow their professional presence. The Feed is visible to all logged-in Artsoundz users (both Creators and Clients), but only Elite Creators may post, comment, or follow other users.

These Community Standards apply to all content posted to the Feed, including audio tracks, cover art, captions, comments, and profile information visible through the Feed. Artsoundz reviews all reported content within 72 hours and reserves the right to moderate content under the Communications Decency Act, 47 U.S.C. § 230.

The Feed is protected by DMCA safe harbor provisions (17 U.S.C. § 512). Artsoundz maintains a designated DMCA agent and repeat infringer termination policy. See the DMCA Policy for full details.

Elite Access Requirement: Access to the Music Feed requires an active Elite Creator subscription. If your subscription lapses, you lose posting rights. Your existing posts may be archived but will not be publicly visible until the subscription is renewed.

2. Content You Can Post

The Music Feed is for professional music content. The following content is permitted and encouraged:

  • Original audio tracks — music you created, produced, recorded, mixed, or mastered, where you own or hold a valid license to share
  • Work in progress (WIP) — excerpts, snippets, or rough mixes shared for community feedback, clearly labeled as WIP
  • Behind-the-scenes content — studio sessions, production process, gear walk-throughs, recording setups
  • Project announcements — new release announcements, booking availability, service updates
  • Collaborations — content created jointly with other Creators, with co-creator attribution noted in the caption
  • Creator tutorials — music production tips, mixing techniques, industry insights
  • Genre experiments — exploration of new sounds or styles outside your typical niche

All posted content must represent work of a professional standard. Artsoundz reserves the right to remove content that does not align with the platform’s professional music focus, even if it does not violate a specific rule below.

3. Intellectual Property & Copyright

You must own or hold a valid license for every element of every post — audio, lyrics, samples, cover art, and any other content. By posting to the Feed, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the original creator or a licensed rights-holder of all audio content in the post
  • Any samples used are cleared/licensed or constitute lawful fair use under applicable copyright law
  • Any cover songs include a valid mechanical license (e.g., via Harry Fox Agency, Songfile, DistroKid’s cover song licensing, or equivalent)
  • Any artwork, photography, or visual assets used in cover art are owned by you or licensed for commercial use
  • Posting the content does not violate any third-party intellectual property rights, contracts, or confidentiality obligations

License Grant to Artsoundz

By posting to the Feed, you grant Artsoundz International LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to display, stream, reproduce, and promote your posted content within the Artsoundz platform for the purpose of operating the Feed. This license does not permit Artsoundz to sell, distribute, or commercially exploit your music outside the platform. You retain full ownership of your underlying intellectual property.

DMCA Takedowns

If you believe content on the Feed infringes your copyright, submit a DMCA takedown notice per our DMCA Policy. Artsoundz will remove infringing content promptly upon receipt of a valid notice. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated per our repeat infringer policy and 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).

Audio Fingerprinting: All audio uploads to the Feed are screened against known copyrighted material databases. Uploads that match protected content may be automatically flagged for review or removed before publication. False positives can be disputed by contacting Jrosado@artsoundz.com.

4. FTC Disclosure Requirements

The Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning Endorsements and Testimonials (16 CFR Part 255) apply to all content posted on the Artsoundz Music Feed. These rules require clear, conspicuous disclosure of any material connection between a poster and content they promote.

Self-Promotion Disclosure

When posting content that promotes your own Artsoundz services (e.g., “Book me for mixing”, “Check out my packages”), you must make clear that you are promoting your own professional services. Use one of the following:

  • #ad, #promo, or #promotion clearly visible at the beginning of your caption (not buried in a list of hashtags)
  • A plain-language statement such as “I offer this service on Artsoundz” or “Available to book via my profile”

Sponsored & Compensated Content

If you receive any form of compensation — money, free services, products, discounts, or other benefits — to post content mentioning or featuring a third party or brand, you must disclose this at the beginning of your caption before any other content. Required disclosures:

  • #ad or #sponsored as the first element of the caption for paid content
  • #gifted for content featuring free products or services received
  • #partner for ongoing brand partnership content

Disclosures buried in hashtag lists at the end of captions do not meet FTC requirements and may result in content removal.

Endorsements of Other Creators

If you tag or mention another Creator’s services and have any material connection to them (personal relationship, business arrangement, compensation), disclose this clearly. Genuine organic recommendations do not require disclosure.

FTC Enforcement: Artsoundz cooperates fully with FTC investigations and may provide content and account information in response to valid legal process. Repeated FTC disclosure violations may result in content removal, feed suspension, and referral to the FTC. It is your responsibility to ensure your posts comply with all applicable FTC guidelines.

5. Prohibited Content

Immediate Removal & Account Suspension

The following content will result in immediate removal and account suspension (with possible permanent termination):

  • Unauthorized copyrighted material — samples, loops, full tracks, or recordings you do not own or license
  • Fraud & scams — content promoting deceptive schemes, fake services, or off-platform payment requests designed to circumvent Artsoundz fees
  • Harassment & threats — targeted abuse, bullying, intimidation, or threats of harm toward any person
  • Hate speech — content that dehumanizes individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, national origin, or age
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance; immediately reported to NCMEC and relevant authorities
  • Explicit sexual content or nudity — not permitted on this creator platform
  • Doxxing — sharing personal identifying information of any person without their explicit consent
  • Malware & phishing — links or content containing malicious code, phishing attempts, or deceptive redirects
  • Off-platform solicitation — directing Clients to transact outside Artsoundz to circumvent platform fees (violates the Creator Agreement)

Warning Before Removal

The following content may receive a warning on first offense, followed by removal on repeat violations:

  • Self-promotion without FTC disclosure
  • Excessive advertising (more than 60% of posts being direct service advertisements with no artistic value)
  • Low-quality or non-music content inconsistent with the platform’s creator focus
  • Reposting others’ content without clear attribution
  • Spam — repetitive identical posts, artificial engagement, or mass-tagging

Moderation Actions

When a violation is confirmed, Artsoundz may take one or more of the following actions without prior notice:

  • Remove the offending content
  • Issue a written warning to the account
  • Temporarily suspend Feed access (7 or 30 days)
  • Permanently revoke Feed access while preserving the marketplace account
  • Terminate the entire Artsoundz account
  • Report to relevant authorities where legally required

Appeals

You may appeal any content removal or moderation action within 14 days of the action by emailing Jrosado@artsoundz.com with subject line “Content Appeal — [Post ID]”. Include your account email, the post in question, and a clear explanation of why you believe the decision was incorrect. We will respond within 10 business days.

DSA Compliance (EU Users)

Consistent with Article 17 of the EU Digital Services Act, Artsoundz provides clear reasoning for all content removal decisions that affect EU users. EU users who disagree with a moderation decision may also seek redress through certified out-of-court dispute settlement bodies. Contact Jrosado@artsoundz.com (subject: “DSA Content Appeal”) for the current list of certified bodies.

Transparency: Artsoundz will publish an annual content moderation transparency report once operational volume thresholds are met, as required by the EU Digital Services Act. The report will include total reports received, actions taken, appeals, and outcomes.

7. Privacy on the Feed

Music Feed posts are visible to all logged-in Artsoundz users — including Clients browsing for Creators — but only Elite Creators may post, like, comment, or follow. Unauthenticated visitors cannot access the Feed.

  • Third-party personal data: Do not include personal identifying information (name, contact info, location, financial details) of any third party in your posts without their explicit, documented consent. This includes both GDPR Article 6 (EU) and CCPA (California) requirements.
  • No advertising use: Artsoundz does not use your Feed posts, captions, or audio for behavioral advertising or third-party data sales.
  • Data retention: Feed posts and associated metadata are retained for the duration of your Elite subscription plus 1 year, unless you request deletion earlier via Jrosado@artsoundz.com.
  • Analytics: Artsoundz uses anonymized analytics (Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization) to measure play counts, engagement, and trending content.

For full details on how Artsoundz handles your data, see the Privacy Policy.

8. AI-Generated Content

Artsoundz recognizes that AI-assisted music production is a growing part of the professional music landscape. AI-generated and AI-assisted content is permitted on the Feed under the following conditions:

  • Disclosure required: Posts containing AI-generated audio must clearly disclose this in the caption (e.g., “AI-assisted,” “AI-generated,” or “created with [Tool Name]”). Non-disclosure of AI generation is considered misleading content under FTC guidelines.
  • Rights ownership: You must hold the rights to the AI-generated output under the terms of the AI tool you used. Some AI tool licenses restrict commercial use — verify your rights before posting.
  • Training data compliance: AI-generated content must not incorporate copyrighted samples or recordings in a manner that violates copyright law. Using AI tools that were trained on unlicensed copyrighted material may expose you to copyright liability.
  • Voice cloning prohibited: AI voice cloning or synthesis that replicates the recognizable voice of a real, identifiable person without their explicit written consent is strictly prohibited and may constitute a violation of right-of-publicity laws.
  • Deepfakes prohibited: Generating synthetic audio or video that misrepresents the speech, likeness, or performance of any real person is prohibited.

Right of Publicity: Using any person’s name, likeness, voice, or persona in your Feed content for commercial purposes without their consent may violate right-of-publicity statutes in many U.S. states (including New Jersey, California, New York) and equivalent international laws. This includes using AI to clone another artist’s voice style.
