This Accessibility Statement applies to the Artsoundz website (artsoundz.com) and all associated web application pages. It describes our current conformance status, known limitations, and how to reach us with feedback or complaints.
1. Conformance Status
Artsoundz International LLC targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). We are currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, meaning some content may not yet fully meet all criteria.
Statement Prepared: February 19, 2026 · Last Reviewed: February 19, 2026. We commit to reviewing this statement at least annually and after any significant platform updates.
Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard due to known limitations described in Section 3 below. We are actively working to address these gaps.

2. Technical Specifications
Artsoundz relies on the following technologies for its content and accessibility features:
- HTML5 — semantic markup for headings, landmarks, lists, forms, and tables
- CSS3 — layout and visual presentation, with sufficient color contrast ratios
- JavaScript (ES5) — dynamic interactions with ARIA attribute management
- WAI-ARIA 1.1 — roles, states, and properties for interactive components
These technologies are relied upon for conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA. We use the following accessibility features throughout the platform:
- Skip-to-main-content link on every page
- ARIA
role,aria-label,aria-expanded,aria-live,aria-required, andaria-describedbyattributes on interactive elements and form validation messages - Visible focus indicators on all keyboard-navigable elements (2px teal outline)
- Focus trap (
ArtsoundzFocusTrap) on all modal dialogs — focus stays within the modal while open and returns to the triggering element on close prefers-reduced-motionmedia query applied globally via shared CSS — all animations and transitions are suppressed for users who request reduced motion- Semantic heading hierarchy (h1–h3) on all pages
- All form inputs associated with visible
<label>elements - All images include descriptive
alttext oraria-hidden="true"for decorative images - Color is never used as the sole means of conveying information
Supported Browsers and Assistive Technologies

|---|---|---|
| NVDA (latest) | Google Chrome, Firefox | Windows 11 |
| VoiceOver (macOS) | Safari, Chrome | macOS Sequoia |
| VoiceOver (iOS) | Safari Mobile | iOS 18 |
| TalkBack (Android) | Chrome for Android | Android 14 |
| Keyboard-only navigation | Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge | All platforms |
3. Known Limitations
Despite best efforts, there are some areas where Artsoundz does not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Known limitations include:
| Area | Known Issue | Target Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| User-uploaded audio | Creator-uploaded audio tracks do not always have captions, transcripts, or descriptions, as these are supplied by third-party users rather than Artsoundz | We encourage all Creators to provide track descriptions. We will implement a description field requirement for audio uploads in a future release. |
| Dynamic content | Some dynamically loaded content (e.g., feed posts loaded via “Load More”) may not reliably announce changes to screen readers on all platforms | We are implementing aria-live regions for all dynamic content updates. Target: Q3 2026. |
| Complex data tables | Some tables in the dashboard views may not include full row/column header associations required for WCAG 1.3.1 | Table markup audit and fix scheduled for Q2 2026. |
| PDF documents | If we provide any downloadable PDF documents, they may not be fully accessible. We are working to provide accessible HTML alternatives. | HTML-first policy being implemented. |
Reporting Issues. If you encounter an accessibility barrier not listed here, please report it using the contact information in Section 5. We take all reports seriously and aim to respond within 5 business days.
4. Assessment Approach
Artsoundz assesses the accessibility of its web platform through the following approaches:
- Self-evaluation: Our development team manually reviews pages using keyboard navigation, screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver), and automated scanning tools (axe-core, Lighthouse).
- Automated testing: Lighthouse accessibility scores are checked on major pages during development.
- User feedback: We actively incorporate accessibility feedback from users into our development roadmap.
We do not currently employ a third-party accessibility auditor. We plan to commission a formal WCAG 2.1 AA audit from an accredited auditor by Q4 2026 and will publish the results on this page.
