FAQ

What is Artsoundz?

Artsoundz is a marketplace where Employers (Artists) hire Freelancers for music services.

Employer = Artist
Freelancer = Service provider
  • Employers (Artists) hire help finishing music (mixing, mastering, vocals, beats, cover art, etc.).
  • Freelancers sell those services and get paid.
  • Projects stay organized in one place: details, file uploads, delivery, and revisions.

Getting Started

On Artsoundz, artists are called “Employers” because they are the ones hiring and paying for a service.

Who is a Freelancer?

A freelancer is the person doing the work (engineer, producer, vocalist, designer, session musician, etc.).

How do I join?

Can I be both an Employer (artist) and a Freelancer?

Yes. Many people do both: you can hire help on one project and sell services on another.

For Employers (Artists)

How do I hire (book) a freelancer?

1) Browse services. 2) Choose a freelancer + package. 3) Pay at checkout. 4) Upload files + notes. Then the freelancer delivers your files in the project area.

How do revisions work?

Each package says how many revisions you get. Revisions are for adjustments to the agreed service (not a brand-new direction).

What if I’m not happy with the results?

Use the revisions included in your package first. If there’s a bigger issue, follow: Refund & Dispute Policy.

For Freelancers

How do I become a freelancer?

Create an account: Join now, then complete your profile and list your services/packages.

What if an employer (artist) disputes my work?

Disputes follow the package scope + revision terms. Policy: Refund & Dispute Policy.

Trust & Safety

Is payment secure?

Payments are processed through a secure payment provider. Keep payments on-platform for policy protection.

What if something goes wrong?

Use the project thread so everything is documented. If needed, follow: Refund & Dispute Policy.

Technical

What file formats should I use?

Most music services use WAV for stems and final delivery. MP3 is fine for previews. ZIP is common for multiple files.

How do uploads and downloads work?

Uploads/downloads happen inside the project area so everything stays in one place for the employer (artist) and freelancer.
