1. Introduction
Welcome to Artsoundz, a platform operated by Artsoundz International LLC (“Artsoundz”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the Artsoundz platform, including our website, mobile services, products, and tools (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Artsoundz is a global marketplace connecting music professionals (“Creators”) and clients (“Buyers”) for freelance music services.
2. Eligibility
You may use Artsoundz only if:
- You are 18 years or older
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Your use complies with local, state, federal, and international laws
- If you register on behalf of a business, you represent authority to bind that entity.
3. Account Registration
Users must create an account to access most Services. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain security of your account and password
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
- Artsoundz may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
4. Marketplace Services
4.1 Creator Responsibilities
Creators must:
- Deliver agreed services and original work
- Maintain professional conduct
- Not use AI-generated work without disclosure when applicable
- Comply with copyright and intellectual-property laws
4.2 Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers must:
- Provide clear project requirements
- Pay invoices and fees
- Not request illegal, abusive, or defamatory content
5. Payments
Payments are processed through secure third-party providers (e.g., Stripe Connect).
By using the Services, you agree to:
- Our escrow system for project payments
- Marketplace fees, subscription plans, and transaction terms
- No circumvention of platform payments
- Artsoundz may withhold funds due to fraud, disputes, or policy violations.
6. Cancellation & Refunds
Refunds may be issued only in accordance with our Refund Policy, based on service delivery disputes and escrow terms.
Artsoundz holds discretion in dispute resolution, but does not guarantee refunds.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 User Content
Users retain ownership of original content they upload or create.
By using the platform, you grant Artsoundz a worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- Host and display uploaded content for platform operation
- Use metadata and analytics for service optimization
7.2 Work Deliverables
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Copyright transfers from Creator to Buyer only after full payment
- Creators may showcase non-confidential portfolio work
7.3 Prohibited Content
Users may not upload content that:
- Violates copyright or IP laws
- Contains hate speech, harassment, explicit content or illegal material
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Violate any law or regulation
- Misuse the platform for fraud or scams
- Use bots or scrape platform data
- Promote services outside the platform to bypass fees
- Upload malware or harmful code
- Harm reputation of Artsoundz or users
9. Privacy & Data Protection
Artsoundz complies with GDPR, CCPA, and global privacy regulations.

10. Subscription Services
Paid subscription tiers include enhanced features.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
No refunds for partial billing cycles unless required by law.
11. Third-Party Services
Artsoundz uses third-party providers for payment processing, hosting, analytics, support, and marketing. We are not liable for third-party actions, downtime, or disruptions.
12. Disclaimers
Artsoundz is a marketplace platform — we do not:
- Guarantee quality of services or outcomes
- Act as employer, agent, or partner of users
- Provide legal, tax, or professional advice
The platform is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Artsoundz shall not be liable for:
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or reputation
- Service interruptions or unauthorized account access
- Actions of users or third-party providers
Liability is limited to the greater of $100 USD or the amount paid to Artsoundz in the prior 12 months.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Artsoundz harmless from claims arising from:
- Your content or conduct
- Breach of these Terms
- Violation of third-party rights or law
15. Termination
Artsoundz may suspend or terminate accounts for any violation of Terms. Users may delete their account anytime.
Certain rights survive termination, including IP, payments, liability limits, and dispute terms.
16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a different law is required by applicable local consumer protection regulations.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, unless arbitration is prohibited by law.
Arbitration will take place remotely (via video conference) unless otherwise required.
By using the Platform, you and Artsoundz International LLC agree that any claims must be brought on an individual basis, and class actions, class arbitrations, or representative proceedings are not permitted, unless such waiver is prohibited by law.

17. Global Compliance
Artsoundz complies with applicable global commerce and digital-service laws including:
- U.S. & State Commerce Laws
- EU Digital Services Act & GDPR
- UK Consumer & Data Regulations
- DMCA / Copyright Laws
- International E-commerce Regulations
Users are responsible for compliance with local law.
18. Modifications
Artsoundz may update these Terms periodically. Continued use means acceptance.
