Refund & Dispute Policy

1. Overview

This Refund & Dispute Policy outlines how payments, cancellations, and disputes are handled on Artsoundz International LLC’s platform (“Artsoundz”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By using our services, you agree to this policy, which forms part of our Terms & Conditions.


2. Payment Processing

All payments are securely processed via Stripe Connect or other authorized third-party payment processors.
Funds are typically held in escrow until work is delivered and accepted.

  • Buyers authorize payment when placing an order.
  • Creators receive payment only after the Buyer approves or the dispute window expires.
  • Artsoundz may deduct transaction and service fees before releasing funds.

3. Cancellations

A Buyer may request cancellation if:

  • The Creator has not started the project; or
  • Delivery is delayed beyond the agreed timeline.

 

A Creator may cancel if:

  • The Buyer is unresponsive for more than 7 days; or
  • The request violates platform rules or laws.

 

Mutual cancellations are encouraged to avoid penalties.


4. Refunds

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and issued only when:

  • The service was not delivered or is significantly different from the description;
  • The Creator fails to meet agreed specifications or deadlines;
  • Fraud, payment error, or system malfunction occurs.

 

Refunds are typically processed via the original payment method within 5–10 business days once approved.

No refunds are offered for:

  • Change of mind after delivery approval
  • Digital goods or completed services
  • Subscription fees (unless required by law)

5. Dispute Resolution

If a Buyer and Creator disagree:

  1. The parties must first communicate via the Artsoundz messaging system.

  2. If unresolved within 7 days, either party may open a formal dispute.

  3. Artsoundz’ Dispute Team will review all evidence (messages, files, agreements).

  4. The final decision may result in:

    • Refund to Buyer

    • Full or partial payment to Creator

    • Mutual cancellation

All decisions made by Artsoundz are final and binding.


6. Fraud Prevention

Artsoundz reserves the right to:

  • Freeze or reverse payments during investigations
  • Suspend accounts involved in fraud, chargebacks, or abuse
